Ernest was born in Streatham, London, one of the seven children of Henry Robert (a gardener) and Emma Enever who later lived at 25 Birkbeck Place, Dulwich, London.
Private Ernest James Enever 51758, 2nd Battalion, Welsh Regiment, died on 23rd February 1917, aged 28, whilst in front line trenches at Flaucourt.
